Dr. Hettinger graduated from T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre, SD. He attended the University of Utah School of Dentistry and graduated in 2021. He established Black Hills Implant and Family Dental in 2022.

Our team of experienced, highly-trained registered dental hygienists are here to help you with your oral hygiene needs. We offer a variety of cleaning services including: high-tech X-rays, pain-free removal of tooth plaque and build-up, expert flossing, fluoride treatments, and a physical exam to keep your teeth sparkling and your health optimal.

Emergency Visits

We offer emergency dental services at our office. We do our best to schedule emergency dental appointments within 24 hours of calling. If you call our clinic after hours, please select option two to directly leave a voicemail with Dr. Hettinger. We will treat your emergency with care, attentiveness, and urgency.

Whitening

My ten year old son had to have his tooth extracted and does not do well with shots. Dr. Hettinger did a great job making sure my son was comfortable, he did not even flinch when he was numbed and when it was all done my son stated that “it wasnt that bad at all!” Which says a lot!!!

This was a great experience. I hate the dentist but there was a young charismatic doctor here. He did a great job making me feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable. He saved my teeth by fixing several deep cavities for me, in teeth I had been told would have to be pulled. He seemed to really care about me and my oral health. It was quick and painless and now I have no more pain in my mouth. Thank you Dr. Hettinger you helped change the way I can eat. I’ll surly come see you next time. If you haven’t been here to meet Dr. Hettinger go meet the dentist that actually cares about his people.
